You pay the service call on-site at the visit. It is not waived and it is not free — it pays for Ali's travel and the hands-on diagnosis.
If you approve the repair, the $75 service call is credited toward the repair total. You are not paying it twice.
If you decide not to go ahead, the service call is all you owe, and you keep the diagnosis.
Two washers with the same symptom can have two different failures and a $200 difference in parts. Ali will not guess at a number over the phone and then change it in your laundry room.
You get an exact price after the on-site diagnosis, before any work starts.
Every repair carries a 6-month warranty on parts and labor. If the same fault comes back inside six months, Ali comes back — no second service call.

That means nobody hands your job to a subcontractor and nobody reads you a script. If I tell you your dryer is worth fixing, it is because I looked at it. If I tell you it isn't — and I do tell people that — it is because buying a new one is the better use of your money.
